How to join the Eurasian Art Union

1. Determining Candidate Status

The Union offers two principal statuses for applicants:

Member of the Eurasian Art Union — for authors who are already members of recognized art unions and associations (for example, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Union of Architects of Russia, the Union of Designers of Russia, the Moscow Union of Artists, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, and others listed on the website).

Candidate Member of the Eurasian Art Union — for authors who are not members of other unions or associations but whose field of interest is connected with art. Admission takes place in stages: after one year, on the basis of a decision by the admissions committee, a candidate may be transferred to the status of full member of the Union.

2. Preparation and Submission of Documents

To begin the admission procedure, you must send the following package of documents in electronic form to the Union’s Directorate at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:

  1. Application
    Download the standard application form (available in Word, PDF, and Excel formats). Complete the form on a computer or by hand in block letters. Then print the completed form, sign it personally, scan it or photograph it as a high-resolution file, and send it to the Directorate.
  2. Creative Questionnaire
    Download the creative questionnaire form (available in Word and PDF). The questionnaire allows us to assess your creative potential, activity, and field of interest. It must be completed strictly on a computer in Word format (.doc or .docx).
    Attach the completed questionnaire in .doc or .docx format to your email as a separate file. There is no need to sign or scan the creative questionnaire! Your electronic signature on the creative autobiography file is not required.
  3. Photograph of the Author
    Attach a photograph of yourself in any convenient format (preferably not an official photo but your favorite one — it will be used for publication on the website and on social media).
    You may also send in advance a color or black-and-white photograph for your membership card (3×4 cm) or provide it to the Directorate at the fourth stage of registration.
  4. Photographs of Your Artworks
    Attach from 10 to 25 images of your works in .jpg, .tiff, or .png format. If you have no artworks, you may skip this item.

3. Review of the Candidacy

The review of your candidacy takes up to 21 business days. Based on the results of the review, the Directorate will inform you of the further steps for completing the second stage of registration.
Please note that by submitting personal data, you consent to its processing by the Union.

4. Processing Membership

After receiving a positive decision from the Directorate, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Pay the entrance and annual membership fees in accordance with your category (information on the amount of the fees and payment details will be sent to you in a reply email).
  2. Provide additional documents upon request from the Directorate (if necessary).

  4. Receive your membership card and press book / Union materials.

Once all these conditions have been fulfilled, you become a full member or candidate member of the Eurasian Art Union, and your details are entered into the official register.
