Opening representative offices and an ambassador network

OPENING REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES AND AN AMBASSADOR NETWORK OF THE EURASIAN ART UNION

We are launching regional divisions of the Eurasian Art Union in Russia, Europe, and Asia. Join us — as a legal entity (a branch or representative office) or as an individual — an official Ambassador of the Union.

WHAT WE OFFER

The Central Organizing Committee helps at every stage:

— we prepare legal documents for opening;
— we share guidelines on art management, marketing, and PR;
— we create a website for the representative office and connect it to the common system;
— we support your initiatives and projects with information and organization;
— we give you the opportunity to take part in all-Russian and international projects of the Union.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES AND AMBASSADORS

— A personal page on artunion.pro indicating your region and area of work.
— The right to use the Union’s symbols within the agreed brand book.

— Participation in curatorial trips, residencies, and joint digital projects, including NFT initiatives.
— Remuneration terms and partner bonuses are discussed individually.

PARTICIPATION FORMATS

1. Legal entity — a branch with a settlement account and accounting.
2. Public representative office without a legal entity — only an address and a list of participants.
3. Ambassador — individual — represents the Union, promotes its values and projects, and acts on the basis of a mandate or agreement. An ambassador can be an artist, curator, gallerist, cultural manager, organizer, blogger, or active participant in the art community.

HOW TO OPEN A REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN RUSSIA

  1. Gather a team. A branch requires at least 4 founders.
  2. Fill out the forms. Each founder fills out a participant form and a personal achievements form (Word / PDF).
  3. Choose a chairman. Determine who will head the branch.
  4. Draw up the protocol. Download the template (Word / PDF) and fill it out.
  5. Send the documents. First send the completed forms and protocol to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. After verification, send the originals with signatures to:
    119049, Moscow, Krymsky Val St., 8, bldg. 2 (for the “Union of Artists”).
    What to send: protocol — 3 copies, forms of all founders — 1 copy each.

For an ambassador, an application, portfolio or CV, motivation letter, and approval by the Central Organizing Committee are sufficient.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

After the candidates are approved, the Union’s lawyers will prepare a package of documents:

— application on Form R11001 (notarized by you);
— creation protocol;
— charter.

It is important to answer two questions:

  1. Form of activity:
    — branch as a legal entity (with a settlement account and accounting);
    — branch as a public representative office (without a legal entity, only an address and a list of participants).
  2. Address of the representative office.
    Even an apartment will do. But now the Ministry of Justice often requests confirmation of the right to use the premises (owner’s consent, lease agreement, or letter of guarantee).

Tip: check in your region how the concept of a “territorial subdivision” is interpreted — practice differs in different regions.

AFTER SIGNING

The documents are sent to Moscow for approval, then to the regional Ministry of Justice. The registration period is from 3 weeks.

When everything is ready, you need to:

— open a settlement account;
— approve the design of membership books;
— set the amount of membership fees;
— appoint persons responsible for areas of work;
— approve the work plan.

FOR EUROPE, ASIA, AND OTHER COUNTRIES

If you want to open a representative office or become an ambassador in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, America, or Australia — go to the section “Registration of Foreign Representative Offices.”

The Central Organizing Committee will create a website for your branch or an ambassador page, connect it to the common system — and we will begin working together.

Together we can do more!
